Disaster Strikes!
Recently near 70 cities and towns in the States of Alagoas & Pernambuco Brazil were damaged, many seriously damaged and two or three totally destroyed following devastating rains that hit the region causing flooding and leaving havoc and devastation behind.
Many have been reported dead with thousands injured immediately following the storms with numbers increasing as rescue teams move in and debris is gradually cleared away.
PHR Hon. Ambassador to Brazil and High Representative to South America Sir Lamartine Hollanda Junior KCRO., COWL. was quick off the mark and was able to have material aide shipped into some of the most devastated regions on behalf of the Principality of Hutt River very quickly once news of the disaster was known.
In the photo's can be seen, some of the aide being
gathered together prior to despatch into the devastated regions as well as
photo's taken in and of the region following the disastrous deluge.

Our congratulations and thanks to Sir Lamartine and his staff and supporters for getting this humanitarian aide underway so quickly and we implore those who can assist the people of this region in any way to please do so and do so quickly.
