Greetings from the Webmasters!

Another hot and busy day in the Principality.
Today saw the morning spent with various interviews, HRH Prince Leonard and The Hon Phillip (Webmaster) both interviewed and filmed by ARD 1. The Hon. Phillip was asked to explain the operation of the Licensing Dept of Hutt and the method by which the security plastic cards are issued for such purposes as Drivers Licences, Citizen I.D. Cards, Motor Vehicle Registrations etc as well as a general run down on the I.T. operations within Hutt.

10.30am saw a large gathering of people in the Post Office for the Official release of the Dual celebration Coin.
The unveiling was performed by HRH Prince Leonard with Princess Shirley in attendance and the first coin was handed to HRH Princess Shirley as a gift to Commemorate the Diamond Anniversary, Following the unveiling Prince Leonard used the opportunity to present a coin to each of His children in order to help them remember this occasion.
The release was filmed by Channel ARD 1 Germany and was received with a loud round of applause and a great deal of interest from all in attendance, a lot of Coins left the Principality in the hands of new owners just today!

Luncheon was again held in the tea rooms with many of the Royal family and friends in attendance. Lunchtime also saw the arrival of Mr. Frank Mauger (Bailiff of Hutt) of Gregory Springs with his gas fired rotisserie/spit ready for his famed Pig-on-Spit which is the main feature of the evenings Celebratory dinner, attended in the main by immediate family and a few close friends.

2.30pm saw everyone enter the Chapel of Nain for some formalities, a few light speeches followed by the afternoon highlight not often seen by the public of an  investiture, in fact on this occasion twin Investitures as Knighthoods of the Illustrious Order of Merit were bestowed on 2 very worthy recipients, those being Mr. Troy Compton (Son of the Duchess Diane and Viscount Ray Compton) and The Hon. Phillip Baikie (My Son) and fellow Webmaster.
Both awarded for their services to Hutt.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM BOTH!

Sir Steve.
