RHR SILVERFISH SWIM TEAM RESULT!

The Royal Hutt River Silverfish Swim Team came 08^th out of a total of 60 'teams in the mixed 4 person relay team event., 
24th overall in the combined relay teams event, of which there were more than 170 registrant teams competing.

This race was a 4Km swim event, swum in open ocean and once again the Royal Hutt River Silverfish (RHRSilverfish) have achieved a great result
with what is basically a very young team. A fantastic effort from all -----------WELL DONE!

SWIM REPORT!

On 14th February, the Royal Hutt River Silverfish again hit the water and spent a Valentine’s Day morning competing in the
21st 4km Busselton Jetty Swim as a 4 person team.  

The team this year was:

Holly Allen (14yo)
Sophia Kennedy-Perkins (14yo)
James Allen (17yo)
Marshall Allen (old!)

 Our young team, with the new inclusion of St Hilda’s IGSSA team member Sophia Kennedy-Perkins, hit the water on a perfect morning with high expectations.
Marshall started off the beach changing at the 1km mark to Sophia who completed the “jetty rounding” before handing over to Holly. After changing with Holly with 1km to go, James finished strongly to fulfil our expectations with a creditable 8th out of 60 teams. 

The short (one week !!) 2016 swimming season of the Royal Hutt River Silverfish is over until next year.

Well done team, another great result!
