Issue 09 - SPECIAL Antarctic carried Cover 23/11/1977 WORLD FIRST! Cover flown over the South Magnetic Pole and the Antarctic Continent. Signed: GF Hamm, Observer for HRH Prince Leonard					Issue 11 - ERROR Christmas 1978 ERROR! 01/12/1978 A mistake occurred in the initial printing of this issue addressing Patriarch Josyf Slipyj as Archbishop Josyf Slipyj. This error was picked up quickly, the faulty issue destroyed and the whole run was then reprinted with the correct addressing of the Patriarch. It seems however that some incorrect versions accidentally made their way to be released, (inc numbered sheetlets and FDC's). The number involved was relatively few so these incorrect versions need be looked out for!

Issue 11 - SPECIAL Vatican Commemorative Cover 20/12/1978 An extremely rare cover with less than 20 having been specially provided & addressed by the Vatican as personal commemoratives for the HRP Royal Family, marking the death of Pope John Paul I. Only 1000 of Issue 11 FDC's were personally carried to the Vatican by the Bishop's Chancery of Melbourne Legate to the Hutt River Principality (as it was known at the time) Rev. Father Santiago Crespo. The cover was affixed and postmarked by the Vatican Post Office by Command of the Vatican, with a commemorative postage stamp of Pope John Paul I commemorating his rule from 26 August 1978 until his death 28 September 1978. These covers were offered to the public as a special "one per order" deal. Cover pictured is one of the "Special Vatican Provided covers" which was owned by the late Mother of HRH Prince Leonard Further information on Vatican involvement and combined stamp issues HRP/Vatican CLICK HERE!					Issue 12 - SPECIAL Special Commemorative Cover - SKYLAB Issued 12/7/1979 No details are available concerning this special commemorative cover. Any information, especially a scanned image of the cover would be greatly appreciated.

*Issue 14 - SPECIAL* Vatican Visit by HRH Prince Leonard 20/09/1979 This is an outstanding and rare event issue and what is believed to be the first time a Pope has allowed his head to be placed on a stamp alongside a Sovereigns head. A small number of covers were carried to the Vatican by HRH Prince Leonard and whilst attending there they were stamped FD issue on Sept 20 and at the same time were overprinted with the Vatican visa and Vatican postage stamp, at least two different Vatican postage stamps were used by order of the Vatican Authorities to acknowledge & commemorate the Royal Visit. There were only a small number of this issue treated in this way and many of those were presented at the Vatican dinner to attendee's (mainly Bishops) by HRH Prince Leonard. Issue 16 - SPECIAL Commemorative Flight Covers/Postmark 29/11/1981 ROYAL HUTT RIVER PROVINCE AIR FORCE On the 29th November 1981 HRH Prince Leonard flew into the Royal Fogarty Field at Melton Victoria, in a Fuji 200 full aerobatic plane which was the No. 1 Plane commissioned into the Royal Hutt River Province Air Force. A special cancellation stamp stating, "AIRMAIL. ON INAUGURAL FLIGHT OF ROYAL HUTT RIVER PROVINCE AIR FORCE TO ROYAL FOGARTY FIELD 29 NOV 1981" was used on a standard envelope embossed to cancel 10th Anniversary stamps of HRH Prince Leonard. Three envelopes had two postage stamps of different denomination and a fourth carried three stamps: ($1.50c, 5c), (50c, 75c), (10c, 22c), (5c, 22c, 22) respective costs were; ($1.60), ($1.40), ($0.50c), ($0.50c). These envelopes with the large clear impressive cancellation stamp are without question a very historical Philatelic collectors item. Any one cover or the full set of four was made available to the public from the covers which HRH brought back to the Hutt River Province carried with him on that inaugural flight.
