AFTER ACTION
First Quarter Report
January - March 2012:
Please find my report for January, February, March 2012.

We "manned" the "coffee mornings" in Ridgedale on 21 occasions up to
31st January then the Ridgedale Co-op store hosted these events.
|
|
Sylvania Curling Club - Annual Fund Raiser - general duties carried
out.
|
|
On 8 occasions during the quarter we helped sort items delivered to
the Salvation Army Store in the town of Tisdale, proceeds were as
usual for local charities.
|
|
The Food Bank - 4 times the troop ran the Tisdale Food Distribution
Centre. On 2 occasions troop members collected food contributions from
local sources for the Food Bank.
|
|
Medical Car - 14 times local residents were transported for medical
appointments to and from the city of Saskatoon and the towns of
Nipawin and Tisdale.
|
|
Food catering
duties were carried out 3 times for the Ridgedale pot luck suppers.
|
|
24 volunteer duties were carried out at a local nursing home.
|
|
Helping Hands - during this quarter members carried out 20 duties
checking empty property and/or feeding pets in the absence of their
owners. 3 volunteer duties at a local library and on 2 occasions a
member assisted staff at a local junior school with children who have
reading difficulties. Our member with musical talent helped to
entertain at various seniors centres and care home in the area on 7
occasions.

Tisdale Trojans Ice Hockey Club's Annual Breakfast - Serving breakfast
and public registration duties; guest speaker - Matt Dominguez of the
Saskatchewan Roughriders Canadian Football Team.
|
|
Ridgedale Annual Snowmobile Rally - registration duties carried out.
|
This
